Buick Regal: Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator Case Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module - Remove.
2.
{ If equipped }Auxiliary Heater Core(2) - Remove.
3.
Heater Core(1) - Remove.
4.
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator Case Bolt(1) - Remove[5x].
5.
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator Case(1) - Remove.
6. Unlock the retaining tabs.
7. Transfer components as necessary.
Installation Procedure
1.
NOTE: This step only needs to be performed if the vehicle is equipped
with an
auxiliary heater core.
Cut out the auxiliary heater core cover along the marked line (1) from the
new heater and air conditioning
evaporator case.
2.
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator Case(1) - Install.
3.
CAUTION: Fastener Caution
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator Case Bolt(1) - Install and tighten[5x]
2.5N.m (22 lb in).
4.
Heater Core(1) - Install.
5.
{ If equipped }Auxiliary Heater Core(2) - Install.
6. Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module - Install.
