Removal Procedure
1. Prepare the control module for removal using the SPS programming support
tool.
NOTE: The rear differential clutch control module can now be removed
and replaced.

The cylinder block is constructed of aluminum alloy by precision
sand-casting. The block has 5 crankshaft bearings
with the thrust bearing located on the second bearing from the front of the

CAUTION: Do not change the steering gear preload adjustment before
moving the
inner tie rod from the steering gear. Changing the steering gear preload
adjustment before moving the inner tie rod could result in damage to the
pinion and the steering gear.
